Out of all my social media, Facebook is by far the worst when it comes to negative, nasty remarks (Tumblr is the BEST!)… And that mainly happens on the wonderful and inspiring transformation pictures I have posted. I’ve come to realize that there really is no point in responding to those that leave those kinds of comments. I pity them because clearly, there is something deeply wrong with them for them to feel the need to lash out at people they don’t even know. If anyone has ever commented “ew” “gross” “disgusting” “too skinny” too muscular” “manly” or any other unsolicited remark on an image, don’t take it personally (I know easier said than done). But truly… realize that those people are deeply unhappy with themselves, which has nothing to do with you. To degrade someone like that tells everyone exactly what kind of person THEY are… it says nothing of the person in the picture. Food for thought! (Thank you @courttneyking for posting this quote!)
